We have joined forces with the legends at FourB, expert local MTB tour guides and Jimmy Coops the home of the best smash burgers and beers (ours of course) in Taupo to create a rad package perfect for adventurers, MTB enthusiast or craft beer lovers seeking a bloody cool afternoon out with mates or corporate team building activity on the trails of the world renowned Taupo Great Lake Trail.

You’ll kick your afternoon off with transfers to the start of the Orakau to Kinloch section of the Great Lake Trail. Off on your ebike (winning!) you’ll enjoy the stunning trail ride into Kawakawa Bay, a secluded bay on the shores of Lake Taupo. 

Take a moment to enjoy the serenity before you climb your way up to Codgers Rock, famous for its views over Great Lake Taupō. It’s then a nice descent through NZ natives back to Kinloch where the FourB team will be waiting, and likely with a cold brew for y’all!

With the bikes and your crew all loaded back on the shuttle it’s time to head to your private Lakeman Brewery tour, an opportunity that’s very rarely offered to the public, yip you’ve got to ride 21kms to get a tour with us.

Once at our on farm brewery one of our team will take you behind the scenes of where Taupo’s award winning craft beer is brewed, the team will be in action brewing, canning and packing giving you an insight as to what goes into those perfectly chilled beers you enjoy.

After learning and seeing things in action in the brewery it’s time to taste some more Lakeman Craft beer and grab a feed at Jimmy Coops, the home of some of the best burgers and biggest Lakeman range in the region! 

Sitting on the iconic Taupo Lakefront you can continue to take in the epic views while enjoying a Lakeman tasting paddle of four of the latest brews on tap. Included in your package is a round of nibbles and burgers each. You’ll be ready for them after riding 21kms that’s for sure!

The team at FourB have you sorted from start to finish with transport, bikes (EBikes even), water, snacks and a cold one at the end of the ride. You can even upgrade to a fully guided tour and the guys will share their local insights as you cruise the trails.

This package is perfect for a group of mates traveling or will be a staff team building or corporate activity in Taupo that is sure to be remembered!
